Macy’s to Hoist Holiday Star on November 2009 |
 |
Rick here, I was invited to take photo's and interview the people involved in setting up the Macy's star on 11-18-2009. The star measures 60 feet across and 161 feet high. It contains 3,600 light bulbs, which surround a 1000-watt mercury vapor center.
You folks that attend the Star Lighting and Parade must understand all the work, planning and team involved in one of Seattle's happiest and fun events. Thousands of people will enjoy that day, businesses will be locked and loaded with great stuff to buy, food and the Star will shine like no other!
The photo's I took really depict the diverse team work in placing the "Exclamation Point" on this Iconic Macy's Seattle Day Event.
Please enjoy the photo's and parade route map and share these with your friends and family and Give thanks for all you have. You will send a link at the bottom of each Pic Page numbered 1 through 5 - Page 5 has the Parade Map Route
