Tell us about your favorite small business
Mayor Greg Nickels today announced that
the city of Seattle is now accepting nominations for the
2006 Mayor's Small Business Awards. The 2006 Awards will
honor the diversity and excellence of Seattle's small
businesses, and their contribution to the city's economic
vitality and quality of life. Ten winners will be selected
on the basis of excellence in management, entrepreneurial
spirit, customer service, and community involvement.
"Small businesses are the backbone for our neighborhoods
- they provide gathering places, innovative products,
services and jobs in our communities," said Mayor
Nickels. "Nominating a business for this award highlights
its role and importance to our community."
